I apologize for the lateness of this post. Today I had the honor of meeting Matt Bevin, the Constitutional Conservative Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Kentucky. Matt is running against Mitch McConnell, who we all know to be, well, RINO is the most polite term I can use. (I try to keep these posting to, at worst, a PG rating)

There is an old joke where a citizen asks, “Should I write my Senator?” The person to whom he is speaking replies, “Every Senator has two ends, a sitting end and a thinking end. Since his future depends on his seat, WHY BOTHER?” – THIS JOKE COULD HAVE BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT MITCH MCCONNELL! His ONLY concern is HIS SEAT! He has shown absolutely NO CONCERN about what is best for Kentuckians or Americans!

When I entered the venue where MATT BEVIN  was speaking, my intention was to vote for him as a VOTE AGAINST MITCH MCCONNELL. When I left the Venue, I had decided to VOTE FOR MATT BEVIN – THE MAN!

Obama brings Ukraine war home to U.S.

An executive order signed last week by President Obama grant the U.S. government the right to seize property of American citizens determined to be undermining, even indirectly, the democratic processes or threatening the peace in Ukraine.

The executive order does not define which actions constitute a threat to Ukrainian democracy or peace. It cites the National Emergencies Act, which subjects to revocation the constitutional right to habeas corpus, the requirement to bring an arrested individual before a judge or court.

Noteworthy Accomplishments

Interesting ! During the 3-1/2 years of World War 2 that started with the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and ended with the Surrender of Germany and Japan in 1945, the U.S. produced 22 aircraft carriers, 8 battleships, 48 cruisers, 349 destroyers, 420 destroyer escorts, 203 submarines, 34 million tons of merchant ships, 100,000 fighter aircraft, 98,000 bombers, 24,000 transport aircraft, 58,000 training aircraft, 93,000 tanks, 257,000 artillery pieces, 105,000 mortars, 3,000,000 machine guns, and 2,500,000 military trucks.

We put 16.1 million men in uniform in the various armed services, invaded Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy, won the battle for the Atlantic, planned and executed D-Day, marched across the Pacific and Europe, developed the atomic bomb and ultimately conquered Japan and Germany.

It’s worth noting, that during the almost exact amount of time, the Obama administration couldn’t build a functioning web site.
