I still say, go back to the M-14 (see photo below). It is FAR BETTER than either the M-16 or the M-4. In addition, the 223/5.56 NATO cartridge the M-4 and M-16s use is easily deflected by light brush causing a miss. the 308/7.62 NATO the M-14 fires doesn’t have that problem.
