Friends,

My name is Larry Forgy and I am a lifelong Kentuckian. I have been involved in Kentucky’s Republican Party for decades. I ran for Governor of Kentucky on the Republican ticket in 1995, and I served as the Kentucky Chairman for both of Ronald Reagan’s successful presidential elections.

I used to be a proud supporter of Senator Mitch McConnell. However, in recent years, I have become disappointed in the senator’s voting record. His current record is in stark contrast to the constitutional principles upon which he was elected, and for which I originally supported him.

That’s why, in the upcoming primary on May 20th, I am supporting Matt Bevin for U.S. Senate, and I am writing to urge you to support him also.

It is time to retire Mitch McConnell.

I can no longer be silent. I must enlighten the people of Kentucky to Senator McConnell’s unconstitutional voting record. Here are some votes which show just how far off track Senator McConnell has gone:

GUN CONTROL: Senator McConnell says one thing on the Second Amendment in Kentucky, and does something completely different in Washington. He voted for the 1991 Crime Bill (S. 1241) sponsored by Senator Joe Biden. This bill included a national waiting period for handgun purchases as well as a ban on semi-automatic ﬁrearms. In 1998, McConnell voted for Senator Barbara Boxerʼs Trigger Lock Amendment which required the purchase of a trigger lock with the sale of each handgun.

BAILOUTS: There are few bigger champions of the bailout than Mitch McConnell. McConnell joined Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in voting for
the so-called “Troubled Asset Relief Program” on October 1, 2008. Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) voted “Nay” on the same bill. McConnell was a champion of the TARP legislation, and referred to the passage of this massive taxpayer waste as “the Senate at its finest.”

OBAMACARE: Senator McConnell likes to say he opposes Obamacare, but actions speak louder than words. He voted for cloture, effectively
funding Obamacare on March 13th, 2013, and pressured other Republican senators to do the same. Because of Senator McConnell’s “leadership”, twenty Republicans voted for this bill. Senator Rand Paul voted “Nay” to this funding. Furthermore, McConnell worked to undermine efforts to defund Obamacare, cutting off Ted Cruz at the knees. He voted against Senators Cruz, Lee, Paul and others as they endeavored to protect the American people from this offensive legislation. Even worse – McConnell has received massive campaign contributions from United Healthcare, the lobby group that employs his former Chief of Staff, and advocates for Obamacare’s implementation.

EDUCATION: On June 14th, 2001, McConnell voted “Yea” for “No Child Left Behind”. This law demoralizes our teachers and our students. Our young people are taught memorization and mindless obedience instead of critical thinking and open-mindedness. Our teachers are reprimanded for teaching “outside the box”, and tailoring their assignments to meet the needs of the individuals in their classes.

Matt Bevin has proven that he can deliver what “We the People” need to ensure our children’s future. He is a husband and father of nine children. He has proven himself as a successful and ethical businessman, a military ofﬁcer, and a leader in his community.

His actions, not just his words, prove that he would be a good investment for the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I ask you to join me in supporting Matt Bevin, the true conservative in this race for the Republican nomination. He can and will deliver.

I find this short article very interesting. If true, this means that Fed Chair Yellen will have an opposite strategy as compared to Bernanke when all along it was expected to be more of the same. The mandate of the Fed is full employment and stable prices (think stable dollar). Bernanke’s quantitative easing was a de facto policy of devaluing the dollar to gain export advantage and to keep federal interest payments low. Problem was, it seems every industrialized country in the word had a similar policy. It was a race to the bottom for all the major currencies. This is why China refuses to revalue (strengthen) its currency.

Yellen is signaling that interest rates are going to rise. Short of war in eastern Europe, which I think is possible, war between China and Japan, which I think is highly unlikely in the short-term, or a catastrophe with the stock market, which is quite possible, I believe the Fed will begin to raise both the federal funds rate and discount rate before the year is out. It will be telling to see how hawkish the Fed will be with the first rise; will it be a quarter point rise or a half point? I’m betting on the latter.

Inflation is beginning to raise its ugly head. Between January 1 and February 28 of this year, food prices increased nineteen percent. That is not an annualized number, that is a real nineteen percent. Yellen believes the inflation genie’s head is out of the bottle and I think she will try to stuff it back in.

I had not realized the demographics in Japan were so dire. I expect the same thing to happen to China in the years to come due to its one-child policy, a policy that now seems to be ending. Perhaps we should send our illegals to Japan.

Illinois vs Oklahoma

PART 1 – Illinois

“A State with No Republicans!”

Some interesting data on the ‘state’ of Illinois. There are more people on welfare in Illinois than there are people working.

Chicago pays the highest wages to teachers than anywhere else in the U.S. averaging $110,000/year. Their pensions average 80-90% of their income. Wow, are Illinois and Chicago great or what? Be sure to read till the end. I’ve never heard it explained better.

Perhaps the U.S. should pull out of Chicago? Body count: In the last six months, 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago; 221 killed in Iraq; AND Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the entire US.

Here’s the Chicago chain of command: President Barack Hussein Obama. Senator Dick Durbin . House Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. Governor Pat Quinn. House leader Mike Madigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike), Mayor Rahm Emanuel. The leadership in Illinois? All Democrats. Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago. Of course, they’re all blaming each other.

Can’t blame Republicans, there aren’t any!

Let us get ALL the facts out while we are at it: Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country.

State pension fund $78 Billion in debt, worst in country.

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country.

Can’t blame Republicans; there aren’t any!

This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. And he is going to ’fix’ Washington politics for us?

George Ryan is no longer Governor, he is in prison. He was replaced by Rob Blagojevich who is, that’s right, also in prison.

And Representative Jesse Jackson Jr. resigned, and that’s right, he and his wife both are in prison also.

The Land of Lincoln: where our Governors and Representatives make our license plates. What?

As long as they keep providing entitlements to the population of Chicago, nothing is going to change, except the state will go broke before the country does.

Anybody who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him better take a closer look at the American Indian.

Don’t forget Detroit, another great example of a Democratic empire.

With all the bad news, there is hope, so let’s go to:

PART 2- Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA may soon have plenty of new residents!

THIS IS REALLY INTERESTING, AND TRUE … PLEASE READ IT!

Oklahoma is the only state that Obama did not win even one county in the last election…While everyone is focusing on Arizona’s new law, look what Oklahoma has been doing!!!

An update from Oklahoma:

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9 an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values… HB 1330

Guess what… Oklahoma did it anyway.

Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered.

HB1804. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake.

Guess what… Oklahoma did it anyway.

Recently we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegals to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional SB 1102

Guess what… Oklahoma did it anyway.

Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas, Montana and Utah as the only states to do so.

More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolina’s, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi and Florida. Save your Confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again. HJR 1003

The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I’m sure that was a setback for the criminals. The Liberals didn’t like it — But….

Guess what… Oklahoma did it anyway.

Just this month, the state has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers’ license exams will be printed in English, only English, and no other language. They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of the road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma, you must read and write English. Really simple. By the way, the Liberals don’t like any of this either

The American people deserve answers about the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack on our consulate facility in Benghazi, Libya that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. While in the immediate aftermath of the attack, the Obama Administration sought to connect the events to a street demonstration arising from a YouTube video, and worked to downplay the fact that it was terrorism; the actual circumstances surrounding what happened have begun to come into focus. However, many questions remained, which is why my colleagues in the House and I continue to press to get answers.

For over a year now, committees of the U.S. House of Representatives have been and continue to thoroughly investigate the events before, during, and after the attacks. Committee investigators have interviewed dozens of individuals including State Department and CIA personnel on the ground in Benghazi during the attacks, issued nine subpoenas, held more than 30 hearings and briefings, and reviewed tens of thousands of documents, many of them classified.

I have personally taken action by cosponsoring H. Res. 36, introduced by Rep. Frank Wolf (VA-10), which would establish a special Select Committee to further investigate the events that led to the attack in Benghazi. I believe that advancing this measure will be vital to getting the American people the unvarnished answers they deserve about why four Americans are dead and what decisions were made by the Administration at the time.

Saying small businesses are the country’s backbone, the mayor of Newport, Ky. is endorsing Republican Matt Bevin for U.S. Senate in the upcoming primary election.

Republican Jerry Peluso was first elected mayor of the Northern Kentucky city, which sits across from Cincinnati, in 2008. He previously served on the city commission and as vice mayor.

In a news release, he says Bevin understands the challenges of running multiple businesses and how they work.

“As someone who knows firsthand about operating expenses such as insurance, taxes, utilities, and state and federal regulations, Matt Bevin will support small business by fight for their survival,” Peluso says.

The nod from a Kentucky Republican official is an important in-state pick up for the Bevin campaign, which is trailing McConnell by double-digits in most polls. Bevin has support from over a dozen Tea Party groups in the state and outside groups like the Senate Conservatives Fund and FreedomWorks.

“I am honored by Mayor Peluso’s endorsement and support of our campaign efforts in northern Kentucky,” Bevin said in a statement. “I appreciate all he does for small businesses in Newport. I’m honored to have this lifelong Kentuckian’s support and grateful that he’s joining our team.”

For most of the primary battle Bevin has mercilessly attacked McConnell’s record for not being conservative enough with Tea Party groups by his side.

McConnell’s allies are likely to pounce on Peluso’s Democratic ties, but the nod demonstrates Bevin’s business acumen could be an asset for voters beyond the Tea Party base.

Where were Muslims during World War II?
They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi’s in killing Jews.

Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001?
If they weren’t flying planes into the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or
a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East . No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news network’s that day.

Strangely, the very “moderate” Muslims who’s asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.

HAPPY NEW YEAR….New Law….If you have old golf clubs….you can keep your golf clubs….until April, 2014

The administration has passed a new law titled: “The Affordable Golf Club Act” declaring that every citizen must purchase a new set of golf clubs, before April 2014.

This law has been passed, because until now, typically only the wealthy or financially responsible have been able to purchase new golf clubs without the assistance of their government.

This new law ensures that every American can now have “affordable” golf clubs of their own, because everyone is equally entitled to new golf clubs. And if you want to keep the golf clubs you already have, you can do that, until April 2014. These affordable golf clubs will cost from $1,000 to $3,000 each depending on your income level. This does not include taxes, pull cart, electric cart fees, green fees, membership fees, balls, tees, gloves, range finders, storage fees, maintenance, or repair costs. In order to make sure everyone participates and purchases their affordable golf clubs, the costs of owning golf clubs will increase 50% each year up to 400% by year 2018. This way, wealthy people will pay more for something that other people don’t want or can’t afford to maintain. People who can’t afford or refuse to maintain their golf clubs will be fined. However, children under the age of 26 can use their parents’ golf clubs until they turn 27 at which time they must purchase their own golf clubs.

If you don’t want, or think you don’t need golf clubs, you are still required to buy them. If you refuse to buy a set or make claims that you can’t afford them, you will be fined $800 until you purchase a set or face imprisonment.

People living in farming areas, ghettos, inner cities, Wyoming, or areas with no access to golf courses are not exempt. Age, health, prior experience or no experience are not acceptable excuses for not buying, maintaining, and using your golf clubs.

A government review board that doesn’t know the difference between a hook and a slice will decide everything. This includes when, where, how often and for what purposes you can use your golf clubs along with how many people can ride in your golf cart. The board will also determine if participants are too old or not healthy enough to be able to use their golf clubs.

They will also decide if your golf clubs have outlived their usefulness or if you must purchase specific accessories, like a range finder with slope adjustment or a newer and more expensive set of golf clubs.

Those that can afford memberships at expensive golf country clubs will be required to buy memberships. If you are already a member and you like your membership you can keep your membership. After April 2014, a different country club will be assigned for you to purchase a membership.

Government officials are exempt from this new law as they and their families and some of their friends and a few of their friends’ friends can obtain golf clubs at taxpayers expense

My guess is that we had to pass this law so we could find out what’s in it !

My name is Larry Forgy and I am a lifelong Kentuckian. I have been involved in Kentucky’s Republican Party for decades. I ran for Governor of Kentucky on the Republican ticket in 1995, and I served as the Kentucky Chairman for both of Ronald Reagan’s successful presidential elections.

I used to be a proud supporter of Senator Mitch McConnell. However, in recent years, I have become disappointed in the senator’s voting record. His current record is in stark contrast to the constitutional principles upon which he was elected, and for which I originally supported him.

That’s why, in the upcoming primary on May 20th, I am supporting Matt Bevin for U.S. Senate, and I am writing to urge you to support him also.

It is time to retire Mitch McConnell.

I can no longer be silent. I must enlighten the people of Kentucky to Senator McConnell’s unconstitutional voting record. Here are some votes which show just how far off track Senator McConnell has gone:

Matt Bevin has proven that he can deliver what “We the People” need to ensure our children’s future. He is a husband and father of nine children. He has proven himself as a successful and ethical businessman, a military ofﬁcer, and a leader in his community.

His actions, not just his words, prove that he would be a good investment for the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I ask you to join me in supporting Matt Bevin, the true conservative in this race for the Republican nomination. He can and will deliver.
