When I went to high school, there were 3,000 students in three grades in the school. We had a few fist fights, but the worst discipline problems were usually talking back to teachers and throwing spitballs. When I was in third grade, I remember carrying my Hoppalong Cassidy jackknife to school and playing “Splits” and “Chubs” with my schoolmates at recess. No problem, unless someone decided to carve up school property (a rare occurrence).

Now we have a definite change in culture. I don’t know if it due to mothers having to work and their children being brought up by strangers, if it’s caused by GOD being driven from our lives, the proliferation of  violent video games, a combination of some/all of the above, OR WHAT.

WE MUST FIND AND ERADICATE THE CAUSE !!!

Ted Poe (R-Texas) to introduce the “Constitutional Check and Balance Act.” The legislation authorizes members of Congress to bring an action for declaratory and injunctive relief in response to a written statement made by the President – or any other executive branch official – that directs that branch to not enforce a provision of federal law.

I am excited to join my friend Rep. Poe in introducing legislation to provide a way to seek relief in federal court when the executive branch decides they don’t want to follow the law. The Obama administration is trying to rewrite Obamacare by executive fiat and that act is a violation of the separation of powers in the United States Constitution. This and other attempts by the Obama administration to rewrite the law can be stopped if this bill becomes law.
